Q: Do we need tickets to attend the event, even if I'm not going to participate in the trivia event?
A: Yes, all attendees need a ticket, even if you’re just watching. This helps us manage venue capacity smoothly and keeps things fair for everyone!

Q: Our team has 6 people, and another friend wants to join. Can we be a team of 7?
A:
Unfortunately, teams are capped at 6 players. Here’s why:

  1. It makes seating arrangements easier across different venues.

  2. Larger teams can get a bit too lively during discussions! 🎤

  3. Keeping teams to 6 or fewer ensures a fair playing field for all.

Q: I didn’t get tickets, but my friends and I still want to go. What can we do?
A: If tickets are sold out, don’t panic—reach out to us! We’ll try our best to find you a spot if possible. Pro tip: Follow our local Facebook page for updates, as we often bring back popular themes with fresh questions and prizes. 📅

Q: Can I bring outside food or drinks?
A: Sorry, outside food and drinks aren’t allowed. Our partner venues have their own awesome selections to enjoy! 🍔

Q: Do I need to bring anything for the trivia event?
A: Just your phone! 📱 We use interactive software, so you’ll need it to play. And don’t worry about looking up answers—by the time you do, we’ll already be onto the next question. 😉 Just focus on having a blast! 🎉

Q: Can minors attend the trivia?
A: While Tipsy Trivia doesn’t have age restrictions, most venues do due to licensing. It’s best to check directly with the venue for their policies. Standard ID rules apply! 🆔

Q: Why is the ticket price higher at checkout than advertised?
A: Ticket prices might appear higher due to service fees and taxes added by our ticket platforms, Showpass & Eventbrite.

Q: I think my answer should’ve been accepted for a trivia question but it wasn’t. Who do I talk to?
A:
We double-check our questions thoroughly, but if something seems off, let us know! Keep in mind:

  • For movie-themed trivia, only movie answers are accepted—no book answers and vice versa.

  • For extended versions of movies, we’ll clarify which version the questions are based on. 🎬

Q: I was unhappy with the service at the venue where Tipsy Trivia was held.
A: We value your feedback and will pass it along to the venue. However, for any compensation requests, please reach out to the venue directly. 🍽️

Q: I wasn’t happy with the host during a Tipsy Trivia event. Who do I talk to?
